ECGC believes in partnerships with their suppliers. The Preferred Vendor program consists of companies from all categories selected by the group that have growth potential. Each year these companies are evaluated in customer service and product by all member firms. Those companies who rise to the top are selected to receive an award. Press releases are sent and venues are selected that will bring the most positive public relations for the winners.
Vendor of the Year is the green goods supplier who receives the highest ranking. A sculpture is commissioned that reflects their specialty and the award is given at different trade shows:
Awards of Excellence, cosponsored by AmericasMart are presented to the leading home décor and Christmas vendors during the January gift show in Atlanta.
Award of Distinction is given to the highest ranking foliage vendor and during the TPIE show each January.
