 | Al's Garden Center Located in Woodburn, Sherwood and Greshan, Oregon Founded by Al and Ann Bigej in 1948, AlÃs Garden Center was originally known as AlÃs Fruit Stand. In 1959 Jack Bigej joined his father and began to develop what is known today as AlÃs Garden Center. AlÃs Garden Center is a third-generation family owned and operated business.
AlÃs has grown into three retail locations: Woodburn, Sherwood, and Gresham that are supplied and supported by five growing facilities in Oregon. AlÃs Greenhouses grow 95% of the soft-stemmed annuals and perennials sold at AlÃs Garden Centers, and 50% of all trees and shrubs. Currently, AlÃs Garden Center is the largest full-service garden center in the Willamette Valley, specializing in the production and sale of premium quality annual and perennial bedding plants as well as nursery stock.

Calloway's opened its first store in the spring of 1987 in Richardson, Texas and by the end of that spring had opened three more stores in the Dallas area. Calloway's continued to grow rapidly expanding into the Fort Worth market and entering the Houston market through an acquisition. In 1999, Calloway's acquired Houston-based Cornelius Nursery. |
